Consider an enforceable Nationwide Anti Bullying Law so our youth can learn in a safe environment. They deserve it.

There is currenty a lack of protection for our youth in public schools. Approx. 160,000 children miss school per day due to fear of being bullied, and there has been a drastic increase in bully related suicides (approx. 7,000 in one year). Unfortunately, everything keeps getting deferred back to the local School Districts, many of which are "sweeping these issues under the rug" possibly due to fear of losing State and Federal funding and grants. My son was bullied and battered at 6 years old in a public school. He's now diagnosed with trauma related PTSD and Anxiety and he is ONLY 7 years old! Thank God he is alive though, because I have friends who have lost their children to suicide because they were bulied so badly. We need a Federal law passed. We pay taxes, our children deserve safety
