Consider the ethical dilemma of Congressional Members' financial investments

Created by D.M. on February 22, 2014

I would postulate that it is highly unethical for Congressional Members of government to have unchecked financial investments in corporations. I argue that this enables corruption by means of self-serving legislation introduced by Congressional stockholders as well as the inhibition of reasonable regulatory legislation. Congress should serve the interests of their constituency, not line their own pockets by promoting the growth of their private investments through manipulation of legislation.
