Consider & Explore the idea of minimum 2 year required service to the Armed Forces, Peace Corps, or Merchant Marines.

I am Petitioning our President, and various leaders in Washington to consider the Obvious and Not-so-obvious benefits to exploring the possibility of requiring all citizens to serve a minimum TWO years (starting before age 25) in any branch of service of the Armed Forces of the United States, OR the Peace Corps, OR the US Merchant Marines.
My reasoning behind this is to provide our citizens with proper training regarding a Trade, firearms familiarization, leadership training, Physical Training (To reduce the spread of Obesity Epidemic), combat unemployment, and give each citizen the opportunity to qualify for Veterans Benefits such as College Tuition and Healthcare.
This is just a request to consider and explore that possibility as this has worked in many other countries such as Israel.
