Consider: The first step to ensure a confident, patriotic citizen starts with "roll call" by name in Kindergarten....

Created by P.R. on October 24, 2012

Say my name. Hear my name. Remember me, and I will you. I look forward to roll call, I want to hear my name so I can inform my teacher and my new friends that I AM here if they want to know me, and I can also hear their names so I can ask them to draw with me, or make music together. Do not recognize me as an empty space on a sheet of paper if I am absent from class. I am somebody even though I am small. I have a name, and I like my name, and I like to hear you say it. I am a young American with a unique identity, admirable traits, self worth and self respect. I am patriotic and proud of the USA, and I am still satisfied and happy with myself as an adult. It all started with "roll call" when I was in Kindergarten... Good Americans are not born and bred, they are bred and groomed.
