A lot of illegal aliens who are US Registered nurses are here in the US working as caregivers since they are not allowed to work and were not given a social security number when they passed the NCLEX exams. These nurses are already here and are ready to help the nursing shortage. Imagine the money the US government will get if these nurses are given a chance. Income tax and even property tax. Let them pay a fee for breaking the law and give them temporary work certificates and they will eventually find their path to citizenship. This is a win-win situation for an aging country.
