Consider a history of Alcoholism into background checks for Gun Control Legislation.

Created by F.V. on December 19, 2012

Loss of life can be minimized by extending background checks to those who have a history of Alcoholism. Currently those indivduals who have been convicted of a DUI, DWI, and other alcohol related misdemeanors which are not punishable by 2 years in prison or a Felony punishable by 1 year in prison are allowed to purchase firearms.

These individuals would nomrally not be allowed to drive, why should they be allowed to purchase a firearm?

Organizations such as the ATF should be positively identifying purchasers of firearms to better trace criminals and enforce background checks.
