CONSIDER IMPLEMENTING A NEW REGULATION ON IMMIGRATION LAW TO GRANT F-1 STUDENTS A RIGHT TO WORK OFF-CAMPUS

Created by A.A. on March 05, 2016

Existing immigration laws state that international students are responsible for their tuition and other related expenses of their lawful presence in the U.S. Despite limited number of financial support opportunities paying for school is very expensive. Provisions on F-1 students limited employment are outdated and financially devastating for American Economy.
Granting F-1 students of off-campus employment can be very beneficial for U.S. Department of the Treasury and U.S. economy:
1. F-1 Students who choose off-campus employment will pay Federal Income Tax.
2. F-1 Students will have to be academically successful.
3. F-1 students would create a healthy competition on a job market.
4. F-1 students would still be a source of financial revenue for US schools.
