consider the lack of underground utilities, especially in our large cities, to be a National Security Issue.

Created by J.C. on July 04, 2012

We all know that our aging infrastructure: roads, bridges, power grid etc. are hurting our economy and a potential danger to our citizens. But, it's now time to view it as I potential National Security Risk.
Our utilities: electric, gas, phone, internet, water etc. should be placed underground, starting with our major cities first then reaching the remainder of the nation.
The recent bad weather that has caused power outages throughout the mid-atlantic states is just an example of the devastation that can take place, but consider what could happen to one of our major cities if they were the target of a widespread terrorist attack.
