An innovative idea towards gun control is necessary to satisfy the wary public who wishes to address the issue, and the government who has largely avoided it due to the rights of responsible individuals who do treat firearms with care. I propose an innovative solution to consider: Gun Ammunition Seals.
As guns are truly only dangerous when loaded, this particular device would prevent incautious civilians from inserting bullets into a firearm. It could only be opened by responsible officials once the appropriate identification has been presented. If the seal has not been closed after a certain amount of time, or if it has been opened improperly, it would immediately notify police.
It would be required by law for all gun owners to purchase such a device, in turn giving the government money.
