As law abiding non mentally ill citizens, we should not be penalized for the actions of the few mentally ill who have illegally obtained firearms to do harm! We should have the right to stimulate the economy by purhasing our firearms for hunting, sport range shooting, and most importantly home protection! It easy for politicians who have ARMED security guards to tell us what is good for us! Criminals will still posses firearms and will just increase violence on the innocent if our freedoms are taken away. Also cutting firearms production will cause more unemployment by the gun makers cutting jobs due to lack of production! Create a mental illness database and bring on a mandatory 5 day waiting period for purchases! 80,000,000+ people already own these firearms,removing is not a solution!
