Marijuana should be legal for recreational use throughout the country. It isn't harmful in any way, in fact it's proven to be so useful in the treatment of so many ailments and conditions.
Also, the country is currently in a recession right? Legalize marijuana, sell it in every store and bodega in the country, slap a 40 percent sales tax on it, and you eliminate the financial crisis. Your also creating more jobs in the farming community as well.
It's a lot safer than beer and wine, which cause liver issues, mental disorders, and yet, alcohol is legal. And smoking a substance that causes no harm, is illegal.
