Consider lowering the drinking age, currently from 21, to 18 years old at federal as well as state levels.

Created by E.D. on May 04, 2013

We understand that buying and drinking alcoholic beverages is a serious choice that must be carefully considered at all times. The consequences of engaging in irresponsible habits related to alcohol are tremendously bad for everyone.
At the same time, there's a time for such decisions, and that time comes at 18 years old. Why should the minimum age be from 21 to 18? because 18 years old means adulthood and decisions such as to live an independent lie, vote, and even drink alcoholic beverages correspond to adult individuals.
Finally, adults over 18 should have to right to have access to alcoholic beverages while at the same time, be educated about the serious dangers of irresponsible choices when it comes to consuming alcohol.
