Consider making Olympic style drug testing mandatory in the sport of Boxing. Too many fighters are getting away with using illegal performance enhancement drugs. Fighters refuse to take test and most time the fight continues on without any test being conducted. The safety of the honest fighters need to be protected from the fighters who rather cheat than fight fair. The State Athletic Commissions usually leave it up to the Promoters and fighters to deal with that. Most of the promoters don't care as long as the fighter is winning in spectacular and making T.V. rating go sky high. Safety should come first and I believe that this is the time our government needs to step in and make a change for the better in the sport of Boxing.
