consider a National retraction of Daylight Saving Time, possibly placing it up for a vote by the American citizens first

Created by E.D. on November 16, 2012

Humans survived for centuries without changing their clocks forward and back each year. The U.S.A was doing fine prior to the practice was adopted during the first World War.

The rationale to continue the practice is outdated and rarely beneficial. There are mentions of saving energy, but with technology so ingrained in our lives, we constantly power things everywhere.

Parts of the U.S.A. no longer practice Daylight Saving. This makes it burdensome to keep track of time differences during interstate business throughout the year.

Much of the world no longer changes time twice a year. Many that do, only do so because the U.S.A. does, and it is easier for business. If we stopped, most of those countries would follow. Suggest it at the United Nations meeting some time to find out.
