consider Professor Lawrence Lessig as a candidate to fill the Supreme Court seat left vacant by the late Justice Scalia.

Created by N.R. on February 14, 2016

Lawrence Lessig is a professor of law at Harvard University and a former clerk to the late Supreme Court Justice, Antonin Scalia.

Professor Lessig's nomination would honor Justice Scalia's memory while signaling a much-needed, and largely supported movement toward curbing the influence of big money in politics.

As a lifelong Independent and authority on constitutional law, Lessig should appeal to reasoned minds on both ends of the political spectrum and present an opportunity for consensus as President Obama nears the end of his presidency.
