We should ban all civilian firearms and make a gun similar to the Heavy Weapons Guy's Minigun (See http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Minigun ) the only gun legal for civilians to purchase.
Sounds ludicrous? Consider this:
1. The Minigun fires $200, custom-tooled cartridges at ten thousand rounds per minute. It costs $400,000 to fire this weapon for 12 seconds, meaning each bullet costs over $800 apiece. At such a high price per bullet, anyone using the gun would have to seriously consider whether firing at whatever he or she is firing is worth the money.
