With the exception of a few slogan additions and small adjustments, the United States Dollar has remained the same since its creation. All dollars are the same color, the same size, and depict the same old dead white men. As an innovation capital of the world, America's currency should reflect this. It is time for a redesign. Numerous graphic designers have attempted to design a new dollar over the years, such as in the Dollar Rede$ign Project. It is time for the government to seriously consider new, aesthetically pleasing, innovative concepts and designs.
