Consider putting dogs in schools

A dog can smell drugs a mile away. They are used to sense epileptic seizures before a doctor can.They are cheaper and more alert to their surroundings than a officer,metal detector,or a armed guard. I have seen a dog protect property from evil people.I have seen them track and tell us where danger lies. With these facts and as a father of kids 5-6-14 yr old kids. I have heard all the possible solutions and dont like them. A trained dog that lives at the school and ALERTS at a threat is the only real way to protect our kids.Not gun bans,not metal detectors, not officers . A collie or a lab would be ideal ,they are smart ,easy to train ,not aggressive,and very protective of their home ( the school they live at),and jobs are created training these dogs.
