Consider recognizing Native American Indian Chief Sitting Bull with his own holiday on December 15th

Created by M.M. on October 15, 2011

We need more awareness and understanding of the Native American People who for the most part seem to be under celebrated and brushed under the rugs of American history.

Sitting Bull is considered by many to be one of the most influential and important Chiefs in Native American culture. More importantly he is considered by many to be an American hero, fighting to save the culture of his people and preservation of his land.

We need to recognize Sitting Bull, appropriately on the day of his death December 15th. Not just to honor the Native Americans of this country, but to educate all Americans on a great leader and a great original American.
