Civil Forfeiture is a useful weapon against criminals in our justice systems arsenal, but after becoming aware of the many incidents of police not only seizing possessions of citizens without any reason, but use said seized items in unrestricted ways; I was in awe that the officials who are supposed to enforce whats right are doing so wrong. Civil Forfeiture may be used properly by a majority of police, but when some police are using laws to bully citizens and in a way legally steal property there is an immediate call for reformation of the law. I ask that as citizens of the United States of America we not have our liberty restricted because of people who are abusing their position of power to take what is not rightfully their's without true probable cause.
