Consider removing Andrew Jackson from the Twenty Dollar Bill

While Jackson may have been seen as a hero in his time, many Americans agree that he did more harm than good. Most notably, he suggested and supported the Indian Removal Act, which led to the brutal relocation of Native Americans along the Trail of Tears, resulting in thousands of deaths. He was also opposed to the abolition movement, as shown when he suggested that the names of those who subscribed to abolitionist papers be revealed in newspapers. He opposed a national bank and advocated for smaller banks, which crashed and sent America into a deep recession. In addition, he greatly expand executive power by his excessive use of the veto, which would certainly not be supported by the other figures to appear on our currency. Jackson lacks the American qualities to be shown on our Twenty.
