Consider removing Glen Canyon Dam in such a way as to restore Glen canyon to its pre-dam conditions.

Created by C.G. on April 28, 2015

The Glen Canyon Dam is considered at risk or being broken by a build up of sediment, and it would be very detrimental to both the ecosystem and human populations if the dam were to spontaneously break. At the same time, the Glen Canyon dam is considered one of the world environmental failures in America, and should be removed to drain Lake Powell and restore the beautiful canyon to the way it was before the dam was inserted. The only logical step is to carefully and safely remove the dam to restore the natural flow of the Colorado river and re-show the now submerged beauty of the Canyon under Lake Powell, while preventing any surprise damage to the dam from harming the environment or injuring people.
