Respect the rights of animals, and pursue corporations who test on animals as primary partakers in animal cruelty.

I petition the Obama administration to consider animal rights as their own. Every year there are on average 19,500,000 animal deaths directly related to experimental testing. We are not ones to subject animals to a lifetime of suffering. Animals are not adequate species to test on and experiment for human diseases and drugs simply because their anatomy is not the same. Many years, dollars, and lives have gone to waste due to trying to one, infect animals of human diseases they don't have and two, trying to cure them of these diseases. For many years tobacco was tested on monkeys, never causing them cancer. Because of this, the detrimental effects of tobacco on humans was kept unexposed for years. Animal testing is not the answer.
