Like North and South Carolina, North and South Dakota, and Virginia and West Virginia, the culture, land, and overall atmosphere of the North and South halves of Delaware are vastly different. The state is also on the Mason-Dixie line, so the vague north-south border in the state could make this separation useful in establishing exactly where the North and South are separated. Overall, creating two states out of Delaware will be a welcome change for our country and a possibly useful contribution to our country's geography.
