Consider Signature to a Petition Requesting Seccession from the United States a Punishable Act Under 18 USC Chapter 115

Orginized action taken to promote or effect the secession or withdrawal of territory and citizens from the lawful jurisdiction of the United States constitutes a treasonous, seditious or subversive act.

Individuals signatory to petitions requesting permission for a state to secceed from the United States shall be charged with Seditious Conspiracy under 18 USC § 2384.

Should such request occur during wartime, individuals signatory to such petitions shall be charged with Activities Affecting Armed Forces During War under 18 USC § 2388.
