Consider this Solution: Achieve equal rights for LGBT and ALL citizens WHILE still protecting DOMA and religious freedom

Created by B.K. on November 13, 2012

Seperation of Church & State is, and should remain, a two-way street.

This humble citizen requests that Federal and State laws abolish the necessity to file for a marriage license, and pruposes that instead, people (both Hetero & Homosexual) be granted the freedom to apply for Domestic Partnership Federal taxation and Property Bennefits.

This would in turn give all persons the freedom to enjoy the same bennefits recieved by married persons without ammending any person's religious beliefs or ceremonies.

This would grant the church the right to choose who it will and will not marry, and the people the right to decide how they will officiate or observe their own union.

This would also help mixed households who share in income and expences, granting ALL PARTIES equality.
