As stated, the Second Amendment of the Constitution explicitly states that the sole purpose of gun ownership is to maintain a well regulated militia. While we support those who collect antiques and use guns for self def., we do not support "Just Anyone" to have access to military grade weapons.
Therefore we ask for legislation that restricts military grade weaponry ownership to the following individuals who meet all of the below:
* ~are law enforcement, active mtlry service, or are honorably discharged & mentally balanced; or complete a 3wk course & psych exam via the Natl Guard
* ~whose close family (those living in or having access to the same home) are all mentally competent & not considered a danger to themselves or others
* ~purchase firearm insurance
* ~take psych exams every 3-5yrs
