Consider taxing, regulating, and adopting reform on cannabis which has the potential to become a billion dollar industry

Created by J.G. on September 23, 2011

Taxing and regulating cannabis has an incredible potential to raise revenue through taxes along with creating an industry similar to the years following prohibition.

Violence and deaths in Mexico are directly caused by US policy on cannabis. Easing usage in California also squeezed the cartels to fight for a tighter market.

Billions would be saved on enforcement, judicial, and incarceration cost.

Your administration would not have to "create" jobs, but the private sector would gladly adopt without revenue from the Government.

I dont know what you guys talk about up there, but 7/10 people I have asked support a new policy on cannabis.

Although I do not smoke, I understand this issue to be a basic constitutional freedom.

Reduce the violence, reduces the dept. Adds jobs. Thanks
