Our condolences to those victims of gun violence. We believe there are sensible actions that do not “infringe” on our 2nd Amendment right. We declare that any limitation (infringement) of the right to bear arms (any firearm), is unconstitutional. Restrictions, such as bans on assault rifles, is an infringement (Act so as to limit or undermine (something)) of our 2nd Amendment right. The following options could be considered. In fact they would most likely promote responsible firearm ownership and threat recognition.
1. Expand the on current NICS system
2. Nationwide firearms safety awareness program
3. Evaluate mental health policies and access to mental health programs
4. Consider armed security of our schools
5. Consider providing resources to states for training CCW holders
