In response to the violent shooting tragedies of the past few years we think it should be considered that Mandatory Drug testing should be a part of the process for purchasing any gun in the U.S.
Since it is a fact that many people with known mental illnesses 'self medicate' with many federally prohibited substances long before they present with psychosis, it should become standard to test for drug use and limit purchases of guns to anyone that fails said test.
