This petition is extremely important because as Americans we need to feel safe by the people we pay to protect us. The constant trend of police murders of unarmed minority's must be changed and we are calling for stiff punishment for any officer using excessive force. This petition will represent the first call for a complete overhaul of the police dept from the ground level starting with the training of new cadets, a taskforce to investigate all racist officers, complaints of racism, new laws for hate crimes committed by officers, exam committees & psychological rehabilitation programs. Which will include community services and outreach programs. This petition is to represent the beginning of change within the culture of policing and enforcement of a code of conduct for all officers.
