Constitution has checks & balances so no one branch of the gov't has too much power. Obama ignores this. Please impeach!

Created by B.C. on July 01, 2014

In making the Constitution, our forefathers included checks and balances to prevent any one branch of government or individual from having too much power to prevent a monarchy or dictatorship, which was feared by the early citizens. Additionally, the intention of the Constitution is for the people to have a voice, which is why we have representatives in the House and the Senate. Therefore, no decision can be made by one branch that has not gone through another branch for approval as well. When Obama states he will use his pen to sign executive orders without going through the House, he is breaking the very basis of the Constitution. He swore to uphold the Constitution, and ignoring or bypassing the Constitution is grounds for impeachment.
