The people should have a right to vote on issues directly.
We need a system for national referendums.
24 states already have referendum systems in place that allow the people to vote directly on the issues during elections.
These systems have already proven to be effective at bypassing political corruption and allowing the peoples voice to be heard- especially on issues that the elected politicians refuse to address
This is something both parties should have no problem agreeing on. Voting against such a bill would show exactly where their loyalties lie.
