As the 2nd amendment protects gun advocates, we believe there should be a constitutional amendment to ensure the rights of our citizens to live securely. There has been a systematic attack on security in our country through budget cuts for police officers to unrestricted conceal and carry legislation and unregulated gun laws. We believe that all citizens have the right to bear arms but no citizen outside of a well regulated militia should be allowed to carry automatic weapons. We believe that limitations on conceal and carry legislation should be implemented to ensure that we can eat in a restaurant without fear. We believe that state budgets for police personnel should be safe from cuts.
