Long serving members of the legislature and judiciary have worked in concert against the interests of America and her citizens and;
WHEREAS:
Long serving members of the legislature and judiciary have ultimately used their offices to enrich themselves and their families and;
WHEREAS:
Such enrichment has created a sense of entitlement and removed the motivation of politicians to serve with distinction and honor and;
WHEREAS:
Service in public office was intended to be an undertaking of public service by a member of the public, not a lifetime career path for those unsuited to labor and;
THEREFORE:
We The People propose a Constitutional Convention under Article V for the express purpose of creating a maximum 3 term lifetime limit on all national elected offices, except President
