Constitutional Amendment For Further Checks on the Supreme Court

While the legislative and executive branches do already have checks on the Supreme Court, they mainly have the power to check individual justices on the Court rather than the decisions made by it. The Supreme Court has not always been right (e.g. Plessy v. Ferguson) or uncontroversial (e.g. Roe v. Wade) in its decisions, and the only two ways to directly overturn a decision are by a Constitutional Amendment (which are very difficult to pass) or by a future Supreme Court Decision. Congress should propose an amendment adding a third method to overturning a decision. For example, Congress could be given the power to overturn a decision by a 2/3 vote in both houses and a signature by the President. While there are other methods, this issue needs to be brought to Congress for debate.
