We should understand the REAL costs of of our military actions BEFORE we agree to enter into such activity.
There should be no more unfunded excursions abroad. When war is declared by Congress, Congress should also announce the corresponding surtax calculated to cover the costs of said war.The president shall not be exempt from this either. If the president announces any type of military action, he should also announce a surtax in similar fashion.
If the people are willing to bear this cost, then the military action may go forward
