The purpose of Congessional Term Limits is to put an end to Congressional members that make a CAREER from politics which was never the intention of the founding fathers. With the adoption of term limits the US will enjoy the benefits of NEW leadership vs. the past and current stagnation of biased seniority leadership based on partisan party lines.
Congressional Term Limit Amendment:
US Representatives will be limited to serving a lifetime maximum of six (6) two (2) year terms.
US Senators will be limited to serving a lifetime maximum of two (2) six (6) year terms.
The limit upon which congressional members combined lifetime Congressional (Representative / Senate) terms shall be limited to a maximum of twelve (12) years total.
