A Constitutional Amendment to "Never get involved in a land war in Asia."

Created by A.J. on August 31, 2013

“When I think about my relationship with America, I feel like a battered wife: Yeah, he knocks me around a lot, but boy, he sure can dance.” ― Sarah Vowell, Take the Cannoli

I love my country, and I want to see it thrive, and recover, after 10+ years of war abroad and domestic division. But I feel abused by what I love so much. Like so many Americans, I am the grandchild of WWII Veterans, the child of a Vietnam Veteran, and I have watched friends and family become soldiers and Veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. These are way too many wars producing far too many veterans, at a much too devastating cost to the American family.

Towards that end, as our government is fueling up drones to go blow up some more people half a world away, on top of the war we’ve been fighting
