A Constitutional Amendment that prevents News Agency from knowingly lying on the air (Radio or Television) or in print.

Created by J.T. on January 21, 2013

It seems the media has been misinforming the public on a daily basis. By either purposely leaving information out, outright lying to the public or taking political sides when reporting rather than being unbiased in the approach to the public trust. Reporters are continuing to perpetrate the lie of omission when it suits them rather than reporting truth and letting viewers or readers decide how they want to interpret what they observe. There are also fewer retractions when it comes to misinformation. It is one thing to report something as it is understood, however; when truth comes out, it needs to reported and ownership of an error needs to be taken, rather than continuing to perpetrate a lie.
