We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Constitutional Amendment to Require State Issued Picture Voter Identification in all Federal elections.

Created by S.K. on November 21, 2016

In the 2016 Presidential Election, voter fraud was a very big concern with questions raised, for example, regarding whether non-citizens with drivers licenses would vote illegally or whether votes would be cast in the name of dead citizens. State photo identification is easy to obtain in any U.S. state. Thus, we the people request that Congress pursue an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to require state issued picture identification to vote in all elections for federal offices. We also request that any state issued picture i.d. issued to non-U.S. citizens be required to clearly indicate citizenship status.
