Call a dozen citizens from each State Congressional District in August of the election year. An elector and an alternate from each dozen gather at the state capital. From them the state electors are chosen in the same numbers as is currently done. The electors of the 50 states assemble in Washington DC. They elect the President from the Party candidates before Thanksgiving. Congress will not be involved in the process in any way. Parties choose candidates. Electors may specify as many debates or town halls as they feel necessary. Candidates should be limited to addressing the full assembly. Candidates may not have private audiences with electors. Electors may not be employed by the Federal Government or as a lobbyist for 10 years after serving as an Elector.
