Constitutional Ammendment for TERM LIMITS on all federal publicly elected positions.

Created by T.M. on November 19, 2012

We the people, petition the administration to sponsor a Constitutional Ammendment. We believe that for the good of the nation, no member of the Senate, House of Representatives, or any other publicly elected position should be allowed to serve more than 8 years per public department. This would allow individuals who desire to be career politicians the option of serving 8 years in the Senate, 8 years in the House of Representatives, or other various departments, but not hold a position within the same federal department for more than 8 years, be it consecutive or non-consecutive.
