To construct a national monument honoring the sacrifices of Iraq and Afghanistan War Veterans.

Created by J.W. on April 27, 2013

Recognizing that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were fought by an all volunteer force. That this force was comprised of less that 1 percent of the U.S Population. That the men and women who fought these wars were subjected to multiple deployments. That these wars lasted over 8 years and 13 years respectably. That combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan were intense and cost the lives of thousands of Americans. That we are a grateful nation that will never forget the sacrifices of those who gave their youth for the Global War on Terror. We request that funds be made available to build a National Iraq and Afghanistan War Memorial in Washington D.C.
