Debt should not be a familiar topic to the American Public. We can all live without debt. New York Times best seller Dave Ramsey has helped thousands absolve their debt. The American government should not have debt. They need to balance their budget. A budget with no deficit. This would also involve cutting the salaries of congress and the president and making those salaries/benefits for the time serving only, not after their term is over.
