Please assist minority group of Sikh citizens across India to peaceful hold their protest for justice against desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Sikhism’s Living Guru and holy book.
During the peaceful protest held in Punjab, Punjab Police has taken action against peaceful protesters which has resulted in two Sikh’s being shot dead, arrests of over 300 peaceful protester, and injured many others by using security forces of the government.
Due to increased threat to peaceful protest of Sikh community to defend their religious beliefs and right to practice their religion freely, we urge the Obama Administration to contact Republic of India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, requesting him to step in and take action for defending the freedom of Sikh religion across the country and world.
