My wife and I are 78 years of age and , because we are both completely disabled and can no longer work, as are millions of other U.S. Citizens , depend on our Social Security Income checks to live on. To pay for food, shelter, clothing, utilities, and fuel, we must stretch our meager income to pay for everything!
The idea that you want to STOP our yearly "COST-OF-LIVING " increases and to decrease our yearly income is completely ludicrous!
Have any of you purchased groceries lately? Do you realize it cost $1.00 for only one(1) orange? $89 cents for just one(1) green pepper?
The cost of food keeps going up yearly. I do not see you putting a cap on the cost of food and other necessities of life but everyone in the government does not hesitate on giving themselves a raise!
