Recently the HHS department issued a mandate stating that womens preventative reproductive care must be covered as preventative by all insurances. This mandate benefits women everywhere, and we ask for your continued support.
There is no reason to cave to the demands of the all-male Conference of Bishops when it comes to women — many of whom are not Catholic — who work at hospitals or attend colleges that are religiously affiliated.
These women deserve the same rights and access as every other citizen. Let it be between them and God if they choose to use it, the government should merely ensure that all women have the ability to make the same choice. It is her body, not the churches.
