The Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act which passed the House of Representatives on April 26, 2012 is being reintroduced to the House again. The Bill allows for the National Security Agency and military to collect and store private Internet files and records. Similar to bills like ACTA, SOPA, and PIPA, CISPA is "aimed" at halting cyber piracy and aid the government. The information collected can be anything from e-mails to a neighbor or just your browser history, meaning that superfluous information will be witheld without permission and without relevance to topic. This kind of approach is not preventative to online piracy, but rather an intrusion on the American populous and our privacy.
