Protecting the commissary's budget is a necessity for those who serve and have served. We buy food to feed our families while we are deployed, while we are stationed at home or have already committed 20+ years to the service of this great nation. You are potentially taking away an important benefit that has been earned by those who sacrifice to protect your freedoms. It is another benefit that we need not relinquish when we already sacrifice so much as a military member. We respectfully request that Congress finds the funds to protect a benefit we have earned and not use the funds for other frivolous reasons.
